If you use Quotes - Quoted Name Feature in Legacy instead of round
brackets around NickNames you can then use the NickName in reports etc.
Note it is Double square brackets for privacy.

If you don't otherwise use the User ID, you can copy the current RIN to
the User ID See Options - Customise 12.4
When merging you keep the RIN on the left so make sure the one you want
to keep is on the left.
And of course, turn off reuse abandoned RINs at Options - Customise 4.4

Is there a way to flag or lock specific Rin numbers so they do not allow
deletions from merges or deletions.
