You should have Legacy files in both locations. Your working files are in the Documents area and are in a series of folders under the Legacy Family Tree folder. Those are the files used by Legacy when you are running the program. The Program Files (x86) area contain both files for the program

Hi Barbara, I don't use any of the parts of Legacy that refer to or contain the LDS stuff as I am not a Member of the Church. I would guess that any of those things in your directory are empty because you are not using Legacy 8. If you are a Member and use the items related to LDS Membership,
