I agree with those who do not take the label AKAliterally. When I hover the
cursor over the AKA icon, the sticky note thatappears reads add or edit other
names or spellings. I enter anyvariation that may have any value to me or
others down the road.

Exactly the way I use AKA and record misspellings and other aberrations.

A AKA, is NOT a misspelled name, but a name that the person used, but not
their legal (birth) name.
