Export to a GEDCOM and re-importing will change all sources to the Basic
Style. The GEDCOM Standard does not support the many fields for sources
that SourceWriter requires.

I tested your statement that SourceWriter (SW) style sources could be
created in earlier versions of Legacy and found that, because of a bug,
you could be offered the option and would be allowed to create SW
sources in 7.4 despite having only the Standard Version. That bug is now
fixed in
This is just not friendly at all! You have access to SW in the past,
now an upgrade to 7.5 is keeping your data hostage!? Nice!
You suggested you'd prefer to switch over to the basic anyway. Have
you tried exporting your individual as a GEDCOM, then reimporting?
