Yes, when FamilySearch have finished their current set of changes, Legacy FamilySearch will be updated again in both Legacy 8 and 9 and it will come back. Currently I understand you are being directed to the FamilySearch website. That will likely be the last update for it in Legacy 8. Legacy

Lucy, That's how Legacy stores a tab. Sometimes it shows on screen as does some other formatting. Remove them if you don't need the tab - leave them if you do. You can Search and Replace on tab. See the Tab button on the Search and Replace form to enter it in either the find or replace box.
