Your Legacy program is installed exactly where it should be, in the Program files path. Your data is also in the Legacy 9.0 default location in your documents path. Response time for Legacy 9.0 can be affected by some of your options like display of Hints and potential problems on screen. It

Somehow I have the program files for legacy in different places, one of which is the C:program files (x86) legacy 9. I am confused. I thought I put it in the default when i downloaded it.. It keeps "not responding" and taking forever for the screens to refresh etc.. Where should it go and how do I

Yes add an AKA but you'll want more. I'd add a Name Change event with notes explaining what you've discovered. For most AKAs I just add a source but for significant name changes I add an Event so I can add notes. In Reports you can choose to add AKAs and you can choose to add Events and you
