As suggested in a recent post, I did a first-ever check of the integrity of my
family file (File>File Maintenance>Check/Repair). Three items were flagged,
all for the same reason: Preferred marriage reference does not exist. I was
given three different RIN's. Each of the three flagged
I'm preparing to save info from an old high-school yearbook that's now
available online as scanned images of the original pages. My problem is
finding a source format that's appropriate. None of the formats in Source
Writer seems to be a really good match so I'm wondering what other Legacy

Legacy. In that way, I add all kinds of photos to my Ancestor Chart and to my
Ancestor book. Its a bit complicated but it works. There might be easier ways

On Tue, Dec 18,
I'm moving my Legacy software (Version 8 Deluxe) to a new computer running
Windows 10. I first moved my data files to the new computer and then
downloaded a fresh copy of Legacy 8 from the Legacy website. The program
installed correctly and immediately prompted me to open my data file, which
copied your whole Documents folder all the whole Legacy Family Tree
folder to the new computer, the licence file was copied and would have been
recognised when you installed the program which is why you can't see the Unlock
icon as it's already unlocked.

Overflow." It occurs when I click the "Marriage" area from the Family View.
Doesn't seem to occur when clicking anywhere else and doesn't seem to matter
which family I'm working on. I did run the "Check/Repair"
.
Perhaps you need to resize that screen to almost fullscreen while you
are having this problem.

After installing Legacy 8 on a new computer with a new monitor, I noticed that
vital information (birth, death, etc.) appearing in Family View is truncated.
For example, a long entry for death that includes date and several governmental
entities is not fully displayed. The information is cut
