Likewise here. My Licq (1.3.2 with ssl patch) won't connect without
crashing anymore either. I am guessing they made changes at the server
that took effect last night since so many people are being affected.

I just applied the ssl_debug patch, the ssl patch, and the save 1 byte
patch and all appears to be working well. My wife's licq has stopped
crashing (i didn't realize until a couple of days ago that i was causing
it by having the "auto request secure" mode set for her contact) and we

That does seem to be the case. I still get the Unknown Family Subtype:
0001 error... but they did in fact remove from the server after i
removed them from my "invisible" list.

I reset all account info by moving ~/.licq to ~/.licq.old and recreated all
acount settings. When i did this everything worked fine (before i did this it
prompted about an invalid key file). The only catch is, i clicked on save
settings, and it gave an error about not being able to find the [start
