Spontini (v1.25) is behaving oddly in the following example. In SVG mode the
following code will compile, but both pages will not be available in the
browser panel, only the first page. If Spontini is then set to PDF mode, it
will behave as expected, but at the cost of the graphic functionality
I have been looking for a way to use music glyphs in inline text, specifically
in a lilypond-book document. I want to write "the note should be Bb and not C#"
but I want to use a flat and a sharp and not a lower case 'b' and an octothorpe
(#).

doit. A doit occurs after the note and goes up. A scoop starts before and

Hi John,
I suspect you'll have to write out your pattern in C major and then A minor
first, and then transpose the pair all the way through the other keys. Be
aware that you should be able to use '\key c \major' for the C maj. and A min.
pattern.

Try this:
Change \partial 2 to \partial 4
"\partial 2" means that the first measure contains a half-note's worth of time.
It does *not* mean the first part of the measure you want to leave out. You
obviously want only one quarter note in the partial measure so you need
'\partial 4'.

I'm trying to make a title/cover page within LilyPond. I'm aware of the
possibility of workarounds:
lilypond-book/LaTeX; Strikes me as a bit ham-fisted, not sure if I would run
into trouble as I've seen the warning about \pageBreak not playing well with
