Hi,
Thanks for all your answers guys, very helpful.
I don't particularly dislike repeat loops, I was just wondering if there was a
more efficient way.
I think I am going to investigate the pRegEx solution (re_copy) that I found in
direct-l list that was suggested by Martin Pallett. And see if

let me rephrase it in another way: what leads you to the assumption,
that a repeat loop is inefficient ?

Hi List,
Does anyone know if there are any xtras available that can be used to delete
desktop shortcuts. I am using BuddiAPI to create them. However, Buddy does
not seem to have this very required function. Any pointers will be highly
appreciated.
Thanks and Regards,

I've been able to succesfully delete disktop links with budiAPI under
windows. You can use buddi to get the path towards the desktop, then
simply use 'badelete' to remove the link. Links are .lnk files (so if
the link name is 'myfile' you should delete myfile.lnk )

Hi list.
I don't have access to OS X which makes bughunting close to impossible.
I want my shockwave to play files on the users DVD. This is working on
Windows and OS 9. But failed on OS X.
My guess is that the path to the dvd in OS X isn't
dvdname:folder:file as it is in OS 9.
Where is it

Thanx, I'll try this. Shockwave can read files that are
below a folder named dswmedia, so I've placed my videos
on a dvd beneath a folder named dswmedia, workes like a
charm when the paths are correct.
In the case of DVD media you don't need a dswMedia folder at all, the
security sandbox has
Granted unique permission
That works for me.
I just wanted to point out that hole made me a tad queasy. We're one
Flash zealot with google away from Well, I read where the Shockwave
Product Manager admitted that there's a security hole in DVD...
