I don't have access to OS X which makes bughunting close to impossible. I want my shockwave to play files on the users DVD. This is working on Windows and OS 9. But failed on OS X.
My guess is that the path to the dvd in OS X isn't "<dvdname>:folder:file" as it is in OS 9.
Where is it located? Can I find it with lingo if I know the name of the dvd?
How are you getting shockwave to access files on the user's drives? For OS X, try the format /Volumes/Drivename/Foldername/file.extension
Shockwave can read files that are below a folder named dswmedia, so I've placed my videos on a dvd beneath a folder named dswmedia, workes like a charm when the paths are correct.
