port though - rtfm cf/README for the exact setting. I dont have a linux box

yes even i think its not a memory issue.
most of the times, xmms ( :-)) is running when that happens. yes mostly that
happens when i run the machine idle.
APM is enabled. but if it were an APM prob. why would it start happening
