Vikram,
With the recent changes to DEBUG_LL on Zoom2/3 boards,
it looks like I can no longer get any debug UART activity
if DEBUG_LL is enabled on these boards (tested on Zoom3).
Is it fair to expect at least the normal UART activity to
work even when CONFIG_DEBUG_LL is enabled and
CONFIG_OMAP_LL
Earlier, the hwmod code had considered the OCP_SYSCONFIG.CLOCKACTIVITY
bits to be incremental power saving bits, controlling internal IP
block clock gates. This was a misapprehension. The CLOCKACTIVITY
bits are used to indicate, in advance, which clocks will be cut when
the module acknowledges an
Replace the existing u8 array of module MPU IRQ lines with a struct
that includes a name - similar to the existing struct
omap_hwmod_dma_info. Device drivers can then use
platform_get_resource_byname() to retrieve specific IRQs without nasty
dependencies on array ordering.

This patch fills in the OCP_SYSCONFIG.AUTOIDLE handling in the OMAP
hwmod code.
After this patch, the hwmod code will set the module AUTOIDLE bit (generally
.OCP_SYSCONFIG.AUTOIDLE) to 1 by default upon enable, and 1 upon
disable. If the hwmod flag HWMOD_NO_OCP_AUTOIDLE is set, AUTOIDLE will be

Reprogram the module's OCP_SYSCONFIG register after module reset (SOFTRESET

the SOFTRESET bit is unclear.

Hello,
here are some updates for the OMAP hardware module code for 2.6.33.
There are likely to be more after these, but am posting these early for
comments and for other branch maintainers who are interested to use in
their trees.

Wouldn't this check be best placed in the clock code?

Indeed, thanks. Will add this to the second version of the fixes series.

This patch actually combines two unrelated changes. I've got those split
into two patches here, will post them.

Yes. omap_ctrl_*() should not be exported, as mentioned earlier.

I'm unable to use MMC on a zoom3 board with current linux-omap kernel.

I'll take a stab at this in a couple of hours unless someone beats me to it.

This patch should be generated for
"arch/arm/mach-omap2/board-zoom-peripherals.c",
since it is common for zoom2 and zoom3 boards. Am I right?
