QuadRank I've only seen on LoadReduced DIMMs (LR). You found in the online documentation that quad-ranks are not supported. I doublechecked and the HOM for the T430 (on page 115 and following) does not mention LR DIMMs to be supported which is weird as the R730s and even the 12G R720 do support
