Greetings:
I encountered an apparent bug in the OHCI host controller driver in Linux.
This one appears as a hang after I open, close, open, close, and then open a
Belkin USB serial adapter device attached to the USB with a Compaq OHCI USB
host controller chip. I originally discovered this probl

How about when you unplug the camera?
In either case, OHCI is unlikely to be dire
Thanks Roman.
The error is not fatal, I just wanted to make you aware. I am able to NFS
mount my root filesystem using the USB100TX and that was my main
requirement. It's very, very cool
You da MAN!
Thanks again.

The linux-usb-devel list has been added to the Cc on this
reply since it relates to USB naming conventions under DevFS...
Consequently, I have trimmed very little of this message so
that others on the USB list aren't lost wondering WTF...

Hi,
I'm having problems with my Philips webcam and an OHCI controller (buffer underflow).
The machine freezes rock-solid if I then try to kill -9 the application which is using
the usb/webcam. No OOPS, nothing.
