have u tried old version of usbsnoopy under windows 98 ?
some odd driver (like eci adsl modem driver) aren't standart under windows and
only this version (and the derivated one on http://benoit.papillautlt.free.fr)
can sniff their traffic

Windows driver set the ASAP flag, you don't, may bet this.
I also got this kind of trouble with uhci driver while usb-uhci and usb-ohci
work fine.

We are also developing driver for the ECI globspan based modem and we
have noticed that it work fine with ohci and usb-uhci but not for uhci
with many version of 2.4 kernel.
Another thing is that if the VIA patch are not in the kernel the driver
(in user mode with usbfs) often core dump when t

this the 0.3 release of the linux driver for ECI HIFOUCS ADSL modem.
It is mostly stable and work full speed now.
This modem is based on glogspan titanium and cypress ez2131 chips so any

this point seems to be done first as there are really few documentation
abut usb programing and as with docs more developer
uffer lenght is 4096 it would have buffer underrun before
semaphore reach the limit.
Buffer underrun are noticed using the debugview system.
