Thanks a lot. As I said this was just an idea and since I don't have the necessary

I already installed Snoopy yesterday and made a few trial runs for the basic functions
like uploading and d

I'm getting a kernel oops with userspace eciadsl usb driver
www.sourceforge.net/projects/eciadsl (uses the same usb code as the
userspace speedtouch driver).
I can't find anything rwong with the driver (except maybe that it
doesn't block between the control and data threads).

When I connect my OLYMPUS C-1 to USB, it is recognized
and my system tries to initialize it as a mass storage system
but hangs after this.
I followed the tips at

but it didnt help.
Are there troubles with the C-1 ?

I'm trying to get a usb flashcard reader (Flash-Link New Media) to
work under a 2.4.19 kernel. I can insmod usb-storage, but I'm not
clear on how to refer to the reader (what to mount, or else what
device to read with what tool).
I gather the reader should look like an IDE drive, but there I'm

The device should reply the same way.
There is a user space lib call usblib can help you
avoid doing kernel programming.
If you can duplicate the URB seq
