Hello There,
I am planning on writing a device driver for a standalone touchpad,
the USB SmartCat from Cirque
(http://www.cirque.com/products/smart.html)
The touchpad itself works fine as a IMPS/2 mouse but I want to use it
as a sort of 3D-input device so I need absolute readings in order to
prop
[add the list back so others can help]
Do you haev sd_mod loaded? Can you send the kernel logs with the cd writer
emulation on?

you have no ehci (USB2) ports, only UHCI. Perhaps something is disabled in
your bios?

expansion card in the first slot. Same problem. Then, when I wisened
up, I moved all the cards around (there are quite a few) and put the USB
2.0 card in the first slot. Everything works fine. What's with that?
