Just for fun, I would make this disk the only disk on your machine, attached to ide0, and see what happens. If it installs on on ide0, you can leave it there. This lilo.conf works for my lindows box, which I double boot with XP. boot=/dev/hda install=/boot/cboot.b message = /boot/splash.lilo
