Hi, your camera mic is supported by the snd-usb-audio alsa driver ( http://alsa.opensrc.org/Usb-audio ), this is a totally different driver and specification from uvcvideo (video only). Anyway is the problem related to skype only or do other apps like audacity, suffer from the same issues?

I have same problem with my Logitech Notebook Pro and on my friends webcam too, but i just do not have time to research it. I'd say, enabling video couse some delay in audio stream so pulseaudio hangs or some thing like this. Normally i have this with skype, not with google-talk, and it seems to

Hello Paulo, As I said in my original email, the problem appears with video calls (Skype or Google Talk). When it's a simple VoIP call I don't experience this problem. I haven't tried with applications like Audacity. I should also add that there was no PulseAudio layer in between (I say was,
