The config imported from 1.2.3 works fine for us. I think we had to
manually re-import the certificate authority, though. Memory fades.

Hi,
i used this to setup
pfsense has been up for almost 5 months now. Then, yesterday we are not able
to access the gui anymore though everything is doing fine such as rules and
port forwarding. The last change I'm doing with the gui is the DHCP mapping
and then suddenly, I cannot access anymore the gui. I'm accessing it

If you can get to the console you can choose option 11 - Restart
webConfigurator, this will restart the web interface services without affecting
other services.

I just rebooted and everything back to normal. I'll update to stable version
this weekend, Hope I would not encounter this issue on the stable version.
Sorry, no solution but this sounds like something I've experienced.
The web interface and, if I recall correctly, ssh access wouldn't work
