Absolutely. http://lmms.tuxfamily.org

Guys it would be good to have a "favicon"
Not sure where it ran off to.. Thx. Fixed.

I could definitely contribute to that. I got quite a few nice kicks and
snares, of which I can put into a pack.

Good question. The last one we brought in was after Unfa had asked to
include his whole album. A few of the community members sort of agreed on
one track together, but there's currently no formal process to get included

I'll download the desktop client as soon as I can. I'll get to work on what
I can.
Also, another question. Is there any criteria that must be met to add a
song to the CoolSongs?

On windows or mac, you can just install the GitHub desktop client which
will put the files on your computer. It will ask where to put them. It
should also fond your fork automatically. If not, click the +, then clone.
When you do this you want to target a branch that is relevant. I'd vote

Okay. So I'll make a note of that... no dicks in the GUI... ;)
I created an account. Cubician. Watched LMMS/lmms.
Clicked the 'Fork' button. Hoping that does what I want.
Okay, forked to cubician/lmms.
Found the projects.
So I forked. How do I change stuff, and how would I request a pull?

Okay. I am completely new to collaborative development, and while I do have
programming experience I have no clue how to use GitHub.
I can probably figure out most of it, but I do have a few questions.
-How do I gain authority to change the files there?
- ^^ That's called committing, right?

And don't worry about plagiarism. Fixing a broken effect or instrument for
our demos isn't plagiarism, it's bug fixing. :)

If you can fix and commit to GitHub it would be terrific!

I was looking through the Demo Songs, and I found a couple problems.

Problem: Peak Controllers are messed up from compat issues.
Solution: Redo the Peak Controllers.

Another idea is to have the screenshots exclude the Ubuntu bar. Though it
is "Linux" Multimedia Studio, I use it on Windows too and some people who
don't know what Ubuntu is may think it part of the program...
And I really need to just send one big email rather than all these small
ones xD

One other thing, the buttons look better green when they match the logo. :)

I'm definitely liking this so far. I'll let you know if I have any more
suggestions.
Is there a site where we can view the current mock-up?

I could definetely contribute to that. I got quite a few nice kicks and

I think the section "Samples" on the new website should have something...
are you open for new sample packs? I could create one in FL Studio (sorry
:P), export it, cut it up and stuff and release it for free.

Guys it would be good to have a "favicon" ( i think the term is ) for the new
website. Obviously using the LMMS icon, where we get to see the icon in our
browser tab and bookmarks menu ;) btw great job the site looks awsome
thanks Mikobuntu
@Ian,
Done. Let me know what you think.
I've pushed the changes up so that people can take a swing at them. I made
the reflection pure CSS so that the picture can easily be swapped out.
This goes without saying but all of these changes can be tweaked or removed
