Just as a general example - IMHO there's no neccessity to change a plugin's appearance. A plugin ships with whatever appearance it has been given by its author (usually). I've been a bit hesitant to offer artistic feedback, because I'm new to the project, but in my opinion fix things if they are broken or could use improvement.
