know it works :) As to what Synaptic may do, my guess is a an issue with the
no install-recommends, as that would bring in a load of stuff not needed.

Do we need sounds for a theme? I've released some music and stuff on a
few labels and have lot's of experience with this. If you guys want some
sounds themes etc let me know.

Ok, i've noticed that there are functions that work both on debian and ubuntu,
so debian is the way to go for me :-P (of course i will do a dual-boot)
