Dear Danny,
I made some good experiences with Ergoplay
(http://www.ergoplay.de/index_engl.html). It seems to be similar to the Gitano
but the lever action on the rips is much less. There are two types – both are
interesting.

Dear all,
I was invited to play the continuo part of some arias of Bachs Markus-Passion.
Two lutes are requested, but that’s all of the information I have got. Does
anybody know witch is the right lute type to choose? Seams to be E or D keys
the most time, so I would preferably go for theorbo
Dear collected wisdom,
is anyone aware of any Gesualdo music connected to the lute?
Thanks, Jörg

Dear friends,
sorry if this question should be a bit off topicbut I – I am using Beiers

but suddenly it doesn’t work properly any more. As soon as I try to use it I
will get the massage List index out of bounds (0).
Dear collected wisdom,
since my Italian is a bit holey I am looking for some modern translations of
some works of Frescobaldi (English or German preferred):

no.8 Aria a voce sola
no.10 Aria a voce sola „Intro Nave Dorata“
no.13 canto a voce sola „Di Licori“

Does anybody know about nice swedish songs with lute and/or continuo
accompaniment? I know Bellman of course, but I am looking for something earlier

Dear friends,
as I have got some persistent rheumatic problems I wonder to put the

It’s available at Amazon. You can easily make a download there (as I just did).

Dear collected wisdom,
as the old italian theorbos seemed to be quite huge and double stringed (for
1-6), I am not aware of anyone to play such an instrument in my neighborhood. I
recently had the possibility to test an instrument of about 90 cm, which was
amazing but single stringed. Does
Dear collected wisdom,
I am looking for some solo lute music connected - however - to Henry Purcell.
Any suggestions?

Dear friends,
I am currently working on a very nice flute variation on Susanne ung jour by
Bassano, which is obviously based on a song of Orlando di Lasso. I am very
interested in this song and in additional lute material, but I cant find too
much about it in the internet. Does anybody know,
Dear Andreas,
it’s not the web, but two or three of those pieces are part of he supplement of

Dear friends,
Id really like to look up some details of a Lauffensteiner suite in the
facsimile of the Haslemere ms (folios 153-156). Unfortunately I dont know
much more about it than the name, and I have also no idea where to look for it.
Can someone help me?
Thanks, Jörg

The text marker yellow seams to be a character of the first production lines.
When I got my first ones, the thicker ones (0.88 and 0.91) just looked like
yellow snow. The second delivery was still a little bit more colored than the
rest, but more or less acceptable.

Dear collected wisdom,
I have been studying the C-Major suite of Johann Gottfried Conradi for quite a
