why IMHO a port to native OS/2 PM might not be a top priority (yet it
might reduce overhead and improve stability, though).

Several months ago, I sent a note to this list asking about DocBook
support in Lyx, and you all said "it'll be here soon." Well, it is here

any more, could you ditch it away?
On the other hand, lib/configure.cmd must be used on OS/2,
is it not possible to do something on config/lib_configure.m4
so that the resulting lib/configure will look like
