Hi After looking at lyx and going through the tutorial, I thought it was a pretty good idea. However, I do have some problems with it. The preview buttons don't give as feedback as a pure WYSIWYG editor. Maybe having an view (kpdf or kdvi) instantous updated after every edit would be a good idea.

apply? Putting (or symlinking at least) the bib file into the current directory: (a) allows it to be found and parsed for entries (b) prevents lyx from hanging Is LyX supposed to search through the directories specified by BIBINPUTS? Or is that a flawed assumption on my part? Ben -- Benjamin
