, to no avail. Desktop language is US English. Updating from TeX 2012 to TeX 2013 did not fix the problem. I tried deleting LyX and reinstalling it but this did not fix the problem. appreciated. Me, too. I have all of my class presentations on beamer, created through lyx in the (admittedly clunky) way we have now. I would hate to have to re-do all of that. -- David L.
