writting a book under Lyx under the memoir class, I have part title in this
document. For these part, I'd like to add a little descriptive text for the
part centered on the page. I've read that this would possible with this

OK, I solved the problem. In order to make the #$%%* thing work, I had to

My first day with Lyx. It is just amazing.
How can I change the colors of just some parts of text? Actually, I found
out that I can 'select' the text I want - right click - text style -
customized - color.
Just that it is too much work.
In the shortcuts I found a set-color function that says

I'm trying to figure out how to have boxes (inserted with
Insert-Box-Shaded
Background) have a specific background color and text color. I was able to
figure out the background color part. For example, for black I've put this
into the preamble
