I searched the LyX Users archives in vain for a reference to a LyX template or
layout file for U.S. legal briefs, with their peculiar title pages and
reference formats. I saw another question like mine in the archives, but no
answers.
Is there no help for a LyX fan who finds himself needing t
Hi Allan,
I tried exactly as you suggested and that did not work. So I finally gave
up and downloaded GNU make. All my missing file problems went away. I did
configure with the --with-included-string option, but now it complains

I exported a document from lyx to latex format. This doc has lots of
citations and an extensive bibliography. I then ran latex2rtf on the tex doc
and find that when I open it in Word, all my citations are gone as is the
bibliography page.
Is there no format that lyx can save to, or no tool t

as Günther said, it's a good way:
psresize -Pa3 -pa5 test.ps | lpr
or
psresize -Pa3 -w6cm -w4cm test.ps | lpr
for an extra

Hi,
The following does the trick for me.

\renewcommand\section{\@startsection{section}{1}{\z@}%
{-2.5ex \@plus -1ex \@minus -.2ex}%

Your next advice works too :

I would like to make the "free space" between the "Section" title and the
preceding and the following text much smaller.
I would al
