Hello, I use Lyx to write novels and factual books (some of which contain photos). I have a query regarding the use of child documents and a master document. What characteristics of the master document are given to a child document associated with it? For example, is the document class, font,

I presume the document class of the child is not changed by the master document because: a) the text formatting options (e.g. Chapter) are not available in the child document b) the document class in the child document remains set to 'article' c) in the produced pdf file the chapter heading

LyX 2.1.0 Beta-2 Binaries for Windows

Hi, I'm having problems downloading the Windows binary for LyX 2.1.0b2 (un)available at the official LyX FTP, and it seems as if the mirrors hosting development-versions have omitted this binary (maybe they are having issues as well?). Any idea where I might get my hands on this file? OS: Win
