Hello,
I became interested in TeX and managed to install
MikTeX on Windows 98.
It seemed like LyX was the logical choice for a
word editor.
So I downloaded LyX for Windows and the required
X-window server X-win32.
I have managed to install Linux in the past.

Hello,
You can use a float to do that.
1 - Add an image float (Insert-Float-Picture float)
2 - Add the title
3 - Put the cursor on the beginning of the title and press Enter
4 - Add the first image (Insert-Figure)
5 - Press Enter and add the second image.

Suppose I type Ctrl-D, aiming to delete a character, just like in Xemacs.
LyX then starts a sometimes quite long compiling process.
Now, suppose I would like to stop it, instead of waiting for minutes.
What should I do?
