Hi Tom When I used elsart.cls, I ran mktexlsr at elsart.cls installed directory as root. I also did Lyx reconfigure. At least my environment; vine Linux3.2, Lyx became to handle elsart.cls. Regards, Takashi -- I must be dreaming , or going out of my mind? ~~~

Hi, I have recently installed LyX 1.4.1 on Win 2000 and I tried importing a LaTeX "tex" file with the following commands: File--->Import---> ? since the LaTeX option mentioned in the tutorials is missing (I am only given the option of importing text files). Does anyone know how to fix this prob

Hi all, I have to write a cv, so i went wanted to install the europecv-class. I unpacked it in /usr/share/texmf/tex/latex/ then ran texhash and then lyx reconfigure. But still I am not able to select this class in lyx... Am I missing something? Thx all L. ___
