Hello,
I use a US int'l keyboard --though I am French-- for more convenient
access to brackets, parentheses... in scientific software.
I have the "dead keys" setup, getting accented characters by typing the
accent, then the character.
However, the cedilla-c: รง is obtained by "acute accent + c".

Thank you, I can see them now. It had not occurred to me that this setting
could be applied _after_ the document being created. I'm switching to LyX
from SW; in the latter, it's much easier to choose the class once and for
all at the beginning.

Place the cross-reference to the labeled footnote in a superscript, so that
it will appear as a note too.
Thus you get twice the same reference to the same footnote, they look alike,
and the numbering si preserved.

Well apparently this one won't pass with the attachments... I can post

OTTH, if someone could send me (possibly off-list) a _working_ example,
I'd like to try and see if it works on my own install too!

[sorry for the repost -- previous mail did not reach the list?]
Thanks, Paul, for the detailed reply.
I decided to try a brand new install, Linux + LyX (I'm testing... I can
afford this)
Linux is now Ubuntu 8.04 alpha 2 (testing again). LyX is 1.5.2.,
installed with Synaptic.
I found a
it with
\end{definition}
(both in ERT). This kind of item is basically part of the theorem-like
statements and unless I'm missing something, there's nothing yet to set up
these theorems purely within the LyX interface. Am I wrong? (I'd like to!)
