Greetings.
I read something like the following in the Skim documentation, but I can't find
where at the moment. It seems that reason you must always specify
"auto-(re)load" the first time you update a PDF is so that you don't forget and
override a previously compiled version of the document th
Hi Michael,
I'm using LyX 2beta3 on OS X 10.6.6 with MacTeX also. I have compiled a
document with the tufte class both to DVI and to PDF. This suggests that there
is something specifically wrong with your file. It could be your installation,
but if you used the full MacTeX, that seems doubt
Günter,
Thanks for clarifying, and for sending the patch. I have applied it, and
everything seems to be working fine.

Peter,
When I use a fresh install of LyX 2.0beta, with KOMA-script article and the
enumitem module, I cannot reproduce the problem. The lists seem to appear as
expected. The label is not indented and flush with the item text.
With respect to the problem of indenting, I notice that in your pic
Tim,I'm not sure if it is what you want, but I've attached a LyX module that gives you a "ChangeMargin" inset in the dropdown menu with Chapter, Section, Quote, and other text environments. You can modify the module file to give you the lengths and labels as needed. Info on installing modules ca
Günther,
I have had the same problem (on a Mac) with Beta2 , and I've tried several of
the various save options. I posted earlier about the issue, (thread: System
Font Issues), and at least one other person replied with the same problem.
Michael Scheer started another thread and mentioned th
Greetings all,
I am using LyX 2 beta 2, and I have been trying out the use of system fonts
with XeTeX and LuaTeX. Whenever I chose the fonts I want, I click apply, and
then ok. If I exit the document and then reopen, the sans serif font and the
typewriter font are reset to default, and the fo
Steve,
All I have available at the moment is LyX 2beta2 for Mac, but in
LyX-->preferences--->Output--->General, I have an option "Output line length
___". (the default is 65--close to what you estimated) This seems to do what
you want, as I've been able use it to change the plain text output
George,
I think I must have misunderstood just a bit what you were wanting with the
\wide environment effect. Glad its working still.

George,
The LyX endnote module uses the LaTeX endnote package, and so it would require
some LaTeX hacking to change things much I think. Memoir has its own commands
to put notes at the end(it calls them pagenotes so as not to conflict with the
endnotes package). The memoir commands are not th
Emil,
I'm not sure if you're still wanting Helvetica, but what works for me is to
open the document settings and go to the Fonts section
The first drop-down selection list is where you set the default font family,
i.e. the family that LyX should use as the basic family for the whole

Hi all.
I've recently started using LyX, and I've downloaded the 2.0 alpha 6 version
used with Mac OS X. I have only one issue so far, and that concerns the use of
Unicode, in particular polytonic Greek (entered using the Polytonic Greek
keyboard layout supplied by Apple).
I'm relatively new
