The file #DCHT_2020_v5.lyx# looks like some kind of lockfile or tracking file that Dropbox writes (maybe hidden), though that's only a guess. Hence, moving the file would remove that thing. It's possible that saving it didn't work because Dropbox thinks it's open on another machine. Riki On 9/2
