And I really need full-quality pictures as I write text because I
actively work with them, I need to be able to read text on them and
examine small details. But the quality of pictures is so bad that even
medium-size text on them could be undecipherable.

that changed absolutely nothing in the LyX preview output, same low
quality. Now I don't know what to do. It seems this converter doesn't
actually work in the program's window.

Russian layout letter 'ь' is in
place of 'm'). I don't have this problem in any other program. For
example, in Kile shortcut 'Alt+I, P' works regardless of the layout.
