see http://bugzilla.lyx.org/show_bug.cgi?id=39 I think you can upgarding safely to 1.1.6fix4 and still using the same document. I use Redhat 7.2 and the ghostscript package ghostscript-6.51-17.i386.rpm with lyx 1.1.6fix4 and it works fine since I upgraded to this ghostscript version. Good

looks like a typo. I think it should be \arabic instead of \arabix in the redefinition of \labelnumii Robert How can I change the parenthesis to a dot right beside the number? Just redefine them both \renewcommand{\labelenumi}{\arabic{enumi}.}

Is there a way to let Lyx use another xform versions than 0.88? The rpm says it needs 0.88. I have 0.88 installed from tar-ball and 0.89 from rpm. Does anybody know how I can tell Lyx to use the newer one? Thanx Robert
