Exams in LyX
Hello all, First of all Merry Christmas. Do you have any suggestion about writing an exam in LyX? I am mainly interested in having a header with 2 logos on either side of the page (left & write) along with the institution name in the middle plus a box under that that has all info regarding the exam name, space for grade and class average and date etc... Any suggestions? P.S.: I've searched but didn't find but one previous thread that had no solution. Happy holidays. -- Sincerely Yours, Bob TB

Re: lyx in arabic or persian
Actually upon further investigation, I found out: Tools > TeX Information > arabart.cls (is present) I "reconfigured" LyX & restarted it & there it was: Article[Arabic] BUT the problem that Scribus has is present in LyX. I am not sure which version it was, but I once tried writing in LyX in Arabic & it worked well. What I'm sure of is that it was running under Ubuntu 10.04 (x86) What do you think? Remove parts from a class (e.g; Elsevier)
I'd like to ask if it is possible to remove any embedded parts of a particular class. For example, in the Document class: article(Elsevier), the output displays "Preprint submitted to Elsevier" at the lower left of the first page. I wrote two documents using that class, but now I have set my default to AMS's (still experimenting). Thanks -- Sincerely Yours, -Merhebi, Bob Thunderbird Signature

Re: numbering multi-line formulas
Hello again, I believe I didn't clear it out well. I meant a shortcut for the "eqnarray" not the equation numbering. The default of your stated functions are: math-number-line-toggle: Alt+M Shift+N math-number-toggle: Alt+M N both of which do the same thing; I already use the second one for numbering.
