I run Lyx 1.3.4 Aqua on Mac OSX (panther) using a French keyboard. I
have two questions, one about superscripts and the other about the
math mode.
1- I click on the formula toolbar button and type E=mc^2. The display
is: E=mc22 (the caret does not seem to be recognized).
2- Also, letters in

this? For example, I want to type g m-2 d-1, with g, m and d as
normal text not in italics (and, of course, -2 and -1 are
superscripts).
