I'm making a report from multiple documents.
That is I save all the chapters as a seperate lyx file and use "include
file..." in the main document.
let's say in chapter three I want to refere to an other chapter saved as
document1 but I do not know which chapter this will be in my final report.

Is there a way to convert LyX output to Adobe PDF? Without going through ASCII
export (and losing curly quotes)? LyX is marvelous for writing and printing.
Now if I can find a way to transfer files to non-LyXers, all will be well.

I got frustrated with the bug in 1.0.2 that doesn't allow you to update
the postscript file without quitting Lyx and restarting it. So, I patched
the SRPM as suggested elsewhere in these mailing lists (change just 1
line) and rebuilt the SRPM and i386 RPM. If anybody wants it, get it at
