Hi Stefano, Thanks a lot for your answer. I'm not very familiar with LaTeX, so it was very helpful. Is it easier to keep certain TeX distributions synced than it is for others, or is it just a case of updating them both regularly? I currently use MikTex on Windows and I am planing to use MacTex

Problem producing tables with knitr and xtable

I have been playing with LyX and knitr.  I have had no problem generating figures generally using ggplot2 I cannot get LyX to generate a table with knitr and xtable.  The file table.knitr one is my last attempt to generate a table.  Not a success though there is something there.
