We're not a huge commmunity. If someone wants something just ask on the
list. That's the best way.

Yeah, what Josh said. RFC says fallback to A records if no MX
records are found, and your A record is set correctly (obviously,
otherwise it wouldn't work at all).
You stay special, Yahoo.

Yes. Ebay is cheap but its also variable.
For one of my projects I purchased 50 SMD line drivers. I was surprised when
they weren't particularly solderable.
The ones I sent weren't vaccuum sealed and had slightly corroded leads. The
seller refunded me and I got to purchase more.

Josh,
I think you can use a 75HC part in this application. even 74AHC I
think. you don't need to go back to 40H. way cheaper.

You probably need to post a link to the catalog / search result.

Like that :-)
I've found a supplier that claims to have lots of these on hand:
http://www.electronicsurplus.com/checkout/cart/configure/id/165931
Anybody ever used them? Their minimum order is $14 (strange) and shipping
is $10, but it's still not huge cost. I'll gets spares, of course, in case

Again how does a site visitor know to "just email you?"

Join the mail list as suggested on the main page, and ask for
I don't have it *fully* self registering either. The user fills in the
little form and that emails me. Then I either approve or reject. I can show
you how I set that up if you want.

Not sure why that link is broken. I'll try to find time this week to
fix it (add it to my never shrinking TODO list).

You have to mx records. The RFC says to fall back to delivering to the A
record, but yahoo. :(
I can add the custom MX record in Dreamhost's DNS panel. It looks like
you're running your own mailman install, so it should be:
lists.bitchin100.com 86400 IN MX lists.bitchin100.com

The
interesting, this is not the first time that I've seen or heard of an
IC output failing on the memory circuit. Saw the same thing on a
PC8201 from Terry in NZ a number of years ago. A failure that is
unexplained other than straight silicon failure. no static, no copper
track issue etc.
On Tue,
I guess I'll forward this without my picture. It's a shame this list won't
take attachments bigger than 64k. Does this mean that everyone who wants to
share this sort of thing goes over to Facebook? Or where?

T thought this was gone because the link on the main Club100 page goes
to club100.org/cgi-bin/member_uploads.pl which returns an HTTP error 500
Turns out it *is* still on there! The working link is:
http:/www.club100.org/library/libups.html
Please update the main page of club100.org.
