I found the same thing with the M100 and T200 - the low battery indicator
doesn't come on until the voltage from the AA
Glad to hear that they all work; yes, the D suffix is for the DVI versions.
I know what you mean about the original wand; they originally included a clear
plastic strip to put under the wand to minimize wear but as you say, the beam
is also a little weaker than some.

Mike,
I got the files to load and run: I2OF5, CDABR, UPCEAN and the basic demo
program RDBC2
There were also a second set: I2OF5D, CDABRD, UPCEAD and the basic demo
program RDBCD2
The second set I expected must be for the M200, as the HIMEM settings
were lower in RAM (around 56888) than
Rex is mostly just for roms.
You can *sort of* use rex as a pseudo ram expansion by using it's
backup/restore feature, but it's really not great for that, since you're
savingvand restoring backups not really switching between ram banks.
All the actual ram expansions I've seen are only for model
Hello,
I made one with a usb connector on one end and the right barrel thing on the
other, and it powers my M100 without any step-up power.

It should work fine.
Note that there are at least 2 different (but nearly identical in function)
devices. The WIFI232 (http://biosrhythm.com/?page_id=1453) is the device that
has been tested most on various retro platforms. The WiModem232 *should*
operate in much the same way. I have a couple
Hey Peter,
Only on Windows, and it is far from a perfect emulation. I added this
probably 6 years ago and knew little about the Linux sound system back then.

I bought this one back in January 2016 and I know that it works great with
my M100:

Unfortunately this specific one is no longer available, but there may be
others that are similar. I remember there being a
Hi Jörg,
That should work. I havent used it myself, but I did discuss it with the
designer when he was originally prototyping it, and he said it would work with
the M100.

Dear friends,
I own an NEC PC8300 and I would like to go online, perhaps visit a BBS etc.
Now I stumbled across this:

Question: Would this work to get my PC8300 online so I can visit a BBS (like
Nostromo, The Cave, whatever)?
Based on what I've seen of the M102 at least, I don't think there's
any reason it needs a true 6v supply. Mine functions just fine at 5v.

Does a USB step up power cord still exist that will provide 6v center
negative with the proper plug? I know there was one available some time back
but I thought I'd check. I have not seen one lately.
