The battery cover for the model 102 on thingiverse (
http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:29533 ) has a number of issues.
David Flippo measured a 102 cover for me and I rectified those issues with

If you need a battery cover for model 100, see
I'll be interested in how it turns out, with the dimensions I provided Todd!

Battery cover .stl file great find on Thingiverse, not sure why I didn't think
to try to find myself. I'll try to print this next few days, in black PLA, and
post the result. I'm thinking to "flip" the design in 123D so that the flat
portion prints down, with the tabs printing up, no supports
Here's a battery cover for the model 100.

In PLA, the tabs are brittle. ABS might be the better plastic for this
application.
I will update a repaired version of the 102 battery cover ASAP.

I have both covers M100 & M102 I'll measure the M102 with my digital caliper.
I'll get back to you!

Do you want the dimensions in inches or mm's?

Well then, the bad news is I have no way of confirming dimensions on the
102 batter cover. The good news is that I have an STL for a model 100
battery cover that I am test printing.

I can confirm that with a proper termcap (and in my case, HTERM and a

Haven't ever tried setting up termcap on a Android system. It might work.

I haven't used it. I have been using Slic3r with great results, but I
seldom design anything that needs support. I will check it out.

Depending on the support structure generator you use, it should print
perfectly. Some of the devices I print have crazy overhangs and all get printed
perfectly all thanks to the wonderful software Simplify3D. Its compatible with
almost all known 3D printers and can repair meshes, scale and rearr
It's not easy to find: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:29533
No body has printed one yet, the tabs might print better on the flat and
could then be glued on. Or a little support under the tabs might be all
that is needed.

There is already a T102 battery door on thingiverse.

Dan,
My 102 arrived from eBay with several dead keys. I traced it down to two cracks
on the circuit board. It took some time but I finally fixed it with some bypass
wires. One of the things I did to diagnose the dead keys was to look at the
schematic and find the two leads that the key should jo
Ditto everything Sebastian said. And get a digital calipers - great for
duplicating parts.

Hi, my name is Dan. I’ve owned a M100 since the mid 80’s
where I lugged it around to user group meetings and college. I even had a
really cool setup with a DVI and a composite green screen monitor to type up
reports on.
Unfortunately I sold the DVI to pay for a good chunk of parts to build an IBM
