Hi Everyone,
I had a bit of free time on Sunday night so I decided to write a
Minesweeper clone for the Model 100 in BASIC. It is called Text Sweeper
Spent the better part of 5 hours planning and writing it, and it's done.
If you are interested, please give it a whirl. It's a bit on the slow side
Hi John,
I tested in Microsoft Minesweeper, and now see that you are correct. If a
square is flagged is does not get revealed.
I'm not sure how much I like that concept. In my mind, the Flags are there
to help you remember which squares you have already determined were mines.
If you open up a squ
Can someone resend the updated code w/ the ASCPIX because I didn't get that
email.

Interesting, thanks for the tip. I haven't had any time to work on Text
Sweeper, as I have been occupied with job related things, and I will be
moving shortly. But I promise to take a look at this probably sometime
during the late autumn.

Hi guys,
I remember reading last week that one of you was working on a 2048 clone.
Well, I was also working on a clone, called "Eleven".
As far as I can tell. everything works well, albeit slow on real hardware.
If anyone would like to take a first glance, I've attached the BASIC code.

The thing about NiMH, is the level of trickle charge that they can tolerate
is a bit less than NiCD. Might not be good in the long run.

Hi David,
I will recommend my own game, Text Sweeper, which is a clone of Minesweeper.

Sorry about that. Last month I changed web-hosts, and it looks like some
files weren't migrated. I've fixed it now.

I *believe*, the M100 will charge the NiCad battery from the AAs even when
off. Due to that mechanism, the RAM will be preserved until the AA and
NiCad are both dead.
Please correct me if I am wrong.

In my impatience, I just ordered the 25ft of cabling, and enough connectors
to make about 10 cables. If the one I make for myself turns out good, I may
be inclined to make the rest available for sale.

Hi all,
I got my parts, and made one cable successfully. It looks pretty good, I
was able to boot up the DVI, format and make a copy of the boot disk. When
I went to format a second copy, it did not work. I tried three additional
disks but got format errors. Hopefully nothing has gone wrong inside
Hi,
Your best bet is to use a serial cable to connect your PC/Mac to your Model
100. Then just use the Telcom program to send the data as text over the
serial, and capture it on Windows/Mac.
For Mac you can use Terminal. For Windows you may want to try Teraterm.
Just make sure your settings are
