seems like it would be an easy thing to take a .ba file, read in it's binary form and then 'build' a corresponding audio file. The audio file could be built by taking PERFECT samples of a '0' and '1' and then spliced together to make a whole program on audio. The problem I believe is that a genuine audio file produced by an m100 contains more than just the program. I think it also contains a '" lead, checksum and descriptor/file name. One of the m100 books had a description of the audio format. From: M100 on behalf of John R. OK. CloudT doesn't either. CloudT does something but doesn't implement cassette really, instead it hooks the cassette routines and redirects CSAVE and CLOAD operation to the file system, or google drive. Surprised no one has scratched the itch to just implement a pc utility to encode and decode model t wav files. -- John.

It does not. Has been on the wish list for about 9 years, but was never a strong enough wish by anyone until now. :) Ken On 11/2/18 2:27 PM, John R. Hogerhuis wrote: I don't remember if VT emulates the cassette. Ken? -- John.

Re: [M100] ba 2 wav software
That would seem to be VirtaulT itself. Just csave the file. I have never used VirtualT or any other M100 emulator, so I am only *assuming* that they have audio output from the emulated cassette port, or that the emulated cassette port saves a sound file. Either way, there you go just csave the file from the emulator, or play the sound file the emulator saved. Re: [M100] ba 2 wav software
Another way, given your desktop has a modem and you have a modem cable for the M200, would be connect the two computers via modem. Set the M200 to Answer (ANS) and send an ATA on both ends from terminal programs. You might have to set the terminals programs at full-duplex. You could then transfer the files directly and SAVE or CSAVE. May not need the ATA at the M200. I don't remember if the internal used the Hayes command set. Hmm. Without a serial cable! That's a poser. Best thing to do though is to get a usb serial cable and a null modem. That's how everyone else does it :-) Other way to do this would be to upload the file to a BBS (using Telnet) that supports 300 baud and then dial your T200 into it to download. I haven't used any BBS's in a long time though, so maybe someone else can advise you of any compatible with the T200. Another way is to simply print your program out and type it back into your T200. Then CSAVE it, and you have a cassette copy. If you have a bar code reader and software I guess you could create a set of barcodes for your program and scan them in. -- John.

Someone did this for the Pocket Computer-2. http://pocket.free.fr/html/soft/pocket-tools_e.html I've used these tools with my PC-2 and they work. Thanks for this link. Very interesting list of program in wav format. Well, seems no easy way to convert a BA file stored on PC in wav format. Maybe I was not 100% clear on my first mail. I have ba files created with virtualT , and I want to send it to the Tandy 200. So thinking to convert it in wav and use the Data cassette cable. Of some interest might be the utilities WAV2CAS and CAS2WAV, they are available here: http://knut.one/wav2cas.htm Here is a nice write up of it in use with a Model 200: http://munk.org/typecast/2014/07/25/file-transfer-for-trs-80-model-100102200-using-a-digital-audio-recorder-the-road-less-travelled/ and video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=exdiQdjioyQ Darren Clark On 11/2/2018 3:37 AM, Joel Barbé wrote: Hello, I done some unsucceful search on internet about a ba to wav software.
