Hi Donal,
Not sure if this is the best or only way, but here's how I do it.
1. Launch Safari.
2. Enter the desired default URL in the address bar and go to that page. I use
the standard about:blank.
3. Open the Safari Utilities menu and choose Add to Home Screen. You will be

Utilities when in Safari and add the page you want to the home screen.

Hello. I, so far, am loving my new Mac Mini. Its truly all I've wanted from a

I believe there is a free version and a Pro version that costs $9 or
something like that. It's been a long time, so I don't recall what the
differences are. I use the free one and have upgraded to version 3 recently,

Are you sure your monitor isn't using a VGA port? That can look somewhat like
a serial port. If it is in fact a VGA port you just need a VGA adapter to

Hmm! That's very weird. Why would having a monitor or not effect things
being applied or not in system prefs. I'm not doubting you, I'm just
wonderring the logic of what would cause this glitch to begin with. That's
really bizarre.
