hi all has IBooks access improved as of yet for mac osx?
can one turn pages with a three finger flick as on iPhone yet if have a
trackpad? or can vo continually read?

Hey this will be a good tip if and when I decide to learn to use pages. I still
am very stubborn about that and plan to write my 30 page paper in ituxt express

Pages in my view has come a very long way in a short space of time and I really
enjoy using it, I found Pages - for the tasks I use a Word Processor for -a
very time consuming and difficult App to manage so I used Nisus Writer Pro,
still a very nice Word Processor though now it seems that Pages
I don't think this is meant for this, this is meant to assist people with
physical disabilities who cannot properly use a keyboard or perform some other
similar functionality required by OS X. Same thing can be found within iOS 7.

There is a fix for that. Just rap to window not page and all works good. the
key stroke at least in the standardd editors is cmd shift w. I to have
encountered this bug and that's how I've worked around it by rapping to window.

i’m having a very strange problem with the mavrics finder.
if i’m browsing in the finder in list view everything is fine all the files are
in order, the problem? if i brows to a file in VLC or any other app with an
open file dialogue the files and folder items are always out of order.
Hmm. Iv'e been able to get files in order just fine. Have you tried a reboot
and a permissions repair, and last a disk repair incase here are any hard drive
errors?
I hope someone else can give you advice on what to do here.

What do you mean switching it to my email? On my mac I was using my apple id
and than added my cell number to my number to my apple id as it was not showing
any messages that were on my phone and that was when I found out that messages
were not being announced in notifications. Thanks.

I have the same problem when viewing files and folders in the finder, but when
looking for a file or folder in vlc for example, I see the files and folders in
order. Perhaps this is a bug in the os? Just a thoughts.

Perhaps you have it set to your cell number? If you switch it to your email
that might help. What I mean is, perhaps you have your Mac said to receive
messages at your phone number. Perhaps changing this would help?

tried all that, even tried removing the finder prefs pls file to make it
rebilled but still nothing. my prefs were still there. if i could completely
reset finder that would be a start.

I think the date fields have been fixed in the new version of Pages. Once you
open the popover menu with VO-SHIFT-Space you can interact with the date picker
as normal. I did this today and I think it was in a predefined date field in
the invoice template but I could be wrong on that.

The date is set to today if you open a template, but once a document is saved
as a Pages document, it retains the date. This is normal behaviour.
