It really comes down to what and how you use your phone. There is no right or
wrong answer. Suffice to say if you're adventurous like me and can cope with
bugs and workarounds then go ahead. If not watch this space for announcements
and posts on updates then decide from there. Good luck!

Hello,
I have noticed a few bugs, as well as lots of good things with iOS8. There are
a few bugs I've noticed, such as caller ID doesn't always work. However, if you
swipe to the left when your phone rings, you can still tell who is calling. The
other thing is that Siri likes to cut off a lot.
As others have said, it all comes down to what you can cope with. As a
5C, your phone itself will handle the update just fine without any
real issues with sluggishness. I have not really seen any issues of
note with SMS. Email is a bit buggy. I have had issues where I double
tap on the reply
I have iOS8 on my 5c and there is no problem.

I am a bit like you Chris in that way, like to take the update and then see
what the bugs are and then how they get resolved. They are not so bad as
not to be able to use the device.

There is also a bug with mms where it won't send. Sms works fine. also if you
use hang outs it crashes. I reported this to both apple and google but looks
like that might or might not be fixed when ios8.1 hits the shelves

I would wait till at least this Thursday when apple is making another reveal
and possibly another update to 8.1 as rumored.

Hi all -
I bought Amadeus lite from the Apple Mac store a couple of months ago. When I
tried to save a new recording today, I got a message telling me that I was
using a demo of the app, and couldn’t save any further files without buying a
licence. I don’t think I’ve ever had a licence for it
Hi everyone,
I signed up for this thing at work where I am pared with a movement coach to
implement exercise activity into my daily work. I have a goal to reach 10,000
steps by the end of 10 weeks. To do this, I started by using the Health app
built into iOS8, but it was counting car rides as
I agree but now I'm coming to terms with the fact some just do not want
to update until the bugs are ironed out which is unnecessary but there
you go. Each uses our own devices in different ways and think some are
scared their habits will be taken away with the update which isn't true
at all.
i updated my iPad mini 1st generation the other day. and well. i have came
across more glitches and bugs that have actually made the iPad impossible to
use. for example, i am trying to type notes in class, and voice over keeps
turning on and off on and off on and off. there is no scrolling
No Duglas you cannot revert. My niece who is sighted and not using Voice
Over, said the update really messed up her iPad Mini.

No you can't as Apple stopped signing 7.1.2 a few weeks ago making downgrading

CRAAp. i had no choice, it was only allowing to update, i couldn’t
cancel or anything…. the thing is practically bricked now cuz of how much it
messed it up. thinking I will be sending apple a very well written email with
a complaint about this issue.

Think there might be an update coming out on Thursday and hopefully that will
help

Since a few people asked about downgrading, I thought I test it out since I

No you cannot. Apple quit signing ios7 2 weeks ago. so you are stuck with it.
Call apple accessibility and report it.

Actually the mms bug has not been fixed and i kind of forgot to submit my logs
for that. I hear that in some cases turnign air drop works but in most cases it
does not. Also some apps I use are very broken with ios8 so I cannot update for
that reason. Hang outs is an example.
